He goes by "DJ WYTE", but the only thing white about him is his skin tone. Born March 30th, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. He comes from a Hispanic background and the art of Music Entertainment runs in his family. Music was always a big part in his life growing up and as the years past, He gained a great admiration for the art form. It was the early 90s.. Hip-Hop and Rap was getting bigger by the day. He had an older cousin that lived in Lynwood, CA that was a DJ. Many times during family visits, would he go watch and listen to his cousin spin some records. It was a mark in where Hip-Hop was introduced to him. "I remember going out and buying the "Tag Team - Whoomp There It Is" cassette single after hearing my cousin spin the record. My mom hating rap music at the time and was always on my case about it, haha." Ever since that moment Hip-Hop and RnB was always on his mind, on the stereo and of course on the Walk-Man. Years went by and studying the music over and over took place until the age of 16, when he decided to get a pair of turntables and some records to open up a new way of looking at music. It was an instant addiction! "Just like every other DJ, I started doing house parties around the way and there was love for being the life of the party, but an even bigger love for the music itself. To this day, I do this because I love it, I appreciate and I love playing for people that will also appreciate what I do on the turntables." With knowledge of over a decade worth of music, WYTE learned how to mix all types of music. It is in fact an art form that does take time, commitment, dedication and lots of heart to master. His true inspirations to this day are DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jam Master Jay of "Run DMC", DJ Flipside and DJ A.M. Scratching is apart of the Hip-Hop culture. It is what made DJs in the 80s stand out and is still true to this day. In his opinion, "It's what a real DJ is all about." "I love to scratch! There's days where I'll bust a scratch session all day, perfecting my scratch or finding new scratch methods and patterns for when I mix." DJ WYTE has accomplished so much over the years. He has done every type of private/social event such as Promotions, Weddings, Corporate events and Musical Concerts. He has mixed at some of the hottest Night Clubs in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. However, There his dream is FM Radio. His Inspirations are DJ Felli Fel (Power 106 KPWR Los Angeles) and Funk Master Flex (The New Hot 97 New York). "I Just love the attitude, swag and vibe Felli Fel and Flex bring to the table.
